Belarus European Bison and Moose
The European bison (Bison bonasus) is the largest mammal in Belarus and Europe. Its body length measures up to 3.20 m (10.5 ft) and its height up to 2 m (6.6 ft). It weighs up to 850 kg (1,850 lbs). The hunting areas are extensive, the population of bison is very large. We hunt from October to March. Your accommodation will be in a particularly beautiful hotel close to the hunting area. The car journey from Minsk Airport takes about four hours.
Normal practice is to stalk in the mornings and hunt from a high seat in the evenings. European bison hunting is something quite special today and in earlier times was restricted to specially selected hunters.
We also organize hunts for the European moose in Belarus. During the rut in September until beginning of December you can successfully hunt large European moose.
